Quiet the menu bar.
Slash hides the menu bar icons you don’t need behind one small slash. Click it to bring them back.
01 · Crowded
Too many icons, not enough bar.
On a MacBook with a notch, icons that don’t fit disappear behind the camera. You can’t reach them.
02 · Mark
⌘-drag icons to the left of the slash.
Anything to the left of Slash gets hidden. Anything to the right always stays visible.
03 · Hide
Click the slash.
The marked apps leave the menu bar. The chevron turns into a slash, and the notch is clear again.
04 · Show
Click again. They hide themselves.
Your icons are back. About five seconds later, Slash hides them again.
